Yes, we enroll all children from the waitlist. Children with siblings in the center are given first priority. Children from Indigenous families also receive priority placement. We will contact you every six months to verify interest in a spot in order to keep our wait list current.
We strive to serve healthy, nutritious meals and snacks. Snacks are primarily fruit and vegetables, and lunches follow nutritional guidelines. We publish a monthly meal plan which can be found in our daycare, and on our app.
We care for kids from 6 weeks up to kids 12 years old. We are a group daycare facility, meaning we have 12 spots for children. We suggest applying early to secure a spot for your child as our waitlist is extensive.
Each child is different and has different needs. On-going behavior issues, or missed milestones will result in a conference between care-givers and parents. Outside support (Therapists) will be suggested. If behaviors are not resolving or there is not parent cooperation we reserve the right to terminate care as we believe early interventions are critical to children's development.
We require the full last month’s fee in advance. If unable to pay the full amount, a minimum payment of $500 is due upon registration and an additional $200 is charged every month until the last months fee is paid in full. The total deposit amount is held on your account and returned once all fees are paid and a written month's notice of end of care is given.
Yes, we are licensed and receive the federal grant.
At this time we do not offer discounts for multiple children. Your child will be given priority if they have a sibling currently attending the center.
We offer daily care as outlined in our handbook.
We will not care for any children who present with sickness symptoms. Additional sick policy information is available in our parent hand-book.
We understand how hard it is to be away from your child, especially the first time. We encourage parents to set up gradual entry prior to your child starting. We want to ensure parents feel secure before leaving their child with us and it also gives the child time to get comfortable in the new environment. Time of gradual entry depends on each individual child. Let us work with you to set your child up for success.
